Did you know that today is National Black Dog Day?  Me, neither.  Don't
you hate it when holidays sneak up on you?  More later on this special day.

Thanksgiving, Christmas) I'm devoting today's post to free or
extremely inexpensive Halloween treats and decorations.

We'll start with my favorite candy treat:

Moving on to Googly Eyes:

TIP:  Make googly-eye picture frames and showcase photos of the
children or grandchildren in their costumes from previous years.

Isn't it amazing how much Repurposing
is involved in Halloween crafts?!

So you've been asking yourself why there's a National Black Dog Day.
Sadly, statistics show that black dogs are the first to be euthanized in a
crowded animal shelter.  If you or someone you know is considering
adopting a shelter dog pick a black one!  And pass on this information.

  1. What a sad fact about black dogs. However, I did love some of the Halloween crafts.
