Today's first project is a wonderful example of hard work,
exceptional design and relentless commitment.  In other words,
Kate Headley's world for the last year:

Kate chronicled her search of the Washington, D.C. area for a home
and found a charming row house that needed an extensive renovation.

 

A clean white palette throughout provides a feel of calm continuity.

 

 

Replicating the original bathroom tile floor

pattern enhanced the integrity of the renovation.

 

 

 

 

 

The historic row house was transformed with a lovely

blend of contemporary and traditional elements.

 

An efficient little guest bathroom was

tucked into a pass-through off the foyer.
