Today's Repurposeful Monday is about art.
Specifically, "found object" art.

And I have a question: is this
Mixed Media or Mixed-Up Media?

Are those of us who love vintage and kitschy collectibles being mocked?
(I'm still in shock over the $1,200 Radio Flyer wagon.)

Today is the perfect post to introduce a new weekly fleaChic feature -
The Repurpose Fail:
A floor lamp made from a prosthetic leg with vintage ties on the shade.

Have a great Monday.

  1. The leg is hilarious. I think I'm going to attach some thin rope/cord/whatever to a tree and start tying found objects to it. It might be fun to see how it would evolve.

    1. Some of these are really silly, aren't they? I'm still recovering from the $1,200 Red Flyer wagon.

  2. Belated thanks for calling in on my blog - I have popped round to see if I can find a photograph of the teddy bear you made!
I collected lots of things but prosthetic legs is not one of them (as an intensive care sister in a previous life I have see too many amputations perhaps!)
    Have a lovely sunny day
    Best wishes

    1. Thanks for stopping by. I'll dig through my photos and, if I can find it, I'll send you a copy of the bear.
