Oh, those annual pesky resolutions.
But it is refreshing to have an imaginary blank slate on which to
write our goals and dreams. I usually create a list that includeseating healthier, exercising more, spending less, blah, blah, blah.
This year my goals are a little less generic -
♥ I'll strive to retain the energy to spread the Beauty of Thrift
through ad-free fleaChic .
♥ Now that The Big Move is behind us I'll try to relax
and enjoy the Simple Blessings of Life.
♥ Continue to encourage and uplift family and friends in a less bossy
way! (Note to self: listen more, not everyone is seeking advice.)
Here's the last darling idea of 2013 that I'd like to share with you:
"Tomorrow is the first blank page of a 365 page
book. Write a good one." -- Brad Paisley
I love the jar idea. Have a great New Year
ReplyDeleteIt's a great idea, isn't it? I hope you have many funny and happy incidents to write down this coming year! -- Jan
DeleteThanks for the ideas. Happy New Year.
ReplyDeleteThanks so much for stopping by. Have a very blessed New Year! -- Jan
DeleteI just think you have a great list...I had to laugh with your "not every seeking advice"....my dearest is such a solution person, that I have to preface some of my remarks to "Honey, I don't want a solution, I just want you listen....." But I'm sure you and my hubby have very good advice.
ReplyDeleteThe jar idea is darling, and reminds me of my 1000 gift journal I did in 2013.
Relaxing more is always a good goal.
Love and Hugs
Wanda
I'm a dedicated problem solver and that's a hard button to turn off but I'm going to try very hard to be more patient and less bossy. I love the jar idea, too. We get so busy in day-to-day life that we "forget to remember" the little funnies and dear things that happen. I hope you and yours have a blessed New Year, Jan
DeleteThe jar idea is wonderful.. I will try to remember to do that!
ReplyDeleteIt is cute, isn't it? My daughter was given a similar jar when the twins were born - there was a decoupaged jar for each of the babies and she still continues to add funny little stories on snippets of paper and the twins are almost 3 yrs old. I hope you have many blessings to write down this next year! -- Jan
