Let's perk up everyone's Tuesday with
some inspiring Before & After projects.

Yard sales, thrift shops, and flea markets are all great
venues for finding bargain chairs that need a little TLC.

Before:                                          After:

A little sanding and a coat of paint
completely transformed this mirror:

An ordinary vintage accent table is now a black and white wonder:

Take a look at this darling dresser re-do:

Chalk paint highlights the fluted legs of this reproduction end table:

A much as I love this wardrobe in its
natural state, I love it painted even more:

                             Before                                                   After

When you're out thrifting don't hesitate to
dig through boxes hiding under tables.
They can hold the most interesting things.
    Before:                                                                                                    After:
                                                                                                                                                                                          Creative Home Expressions

As beautiful as this settee is with the tapestry fabric . . . .

it's even more attractive after a paint job and white linen upholstery.

The new jewelry bust was 'aged' with the
help of dress pattern paper and Mod Podge:

   Before                                                                                 After
                                                                                                                                                                                          Debbie Saenz

Find an inexpensive vintage canister set -

and experiment with your own paint techniques.
(Love the painted knobs!)

An adorable scallop-edged table makeover:

It would be a mistake to discount a piece of
furniture just because it needs a few repairs:

                                                 Before                                          After

I'm on the fence about this next project.  You know
how much I love natural wood when it's in good condition.
