Have I got the cutest repurposing ideas for you today!
Empress of Creativity
Can you guess what this was?  An entertainment center!
It's now a darling bird cage with plenty of room for the budgies.

Another clever idea for an outdated TV cabinet - a mini home office.

We've seen many head and foot boards made from fence materials.
Isn't this one charming?  And, it can be made into a twin bed, too.
For a limited time Coach is offering wallets made from vintage leather baseball
gloves.  You can read the interesting article about the process here.

Would you like to see some lovely photos of birds as well as
extremely clever birdhouses repurposed from household objects?
Brian Carlisle of Gadget Sponge thinks that repurposing is
"for the birds" and is making a very successful business out of it!

Karim Kaidi can turn just about any object into a source of light.
Check out just a few of the many clever lamps and lighting fixtures
that were created from ordinary objects

A vintage service phone makes
a charming wall lamp.

Printers' blocks were used to embellish
an ordinary utility light.

Looking for new shelving ideas?
Damaged tables can be recycled into darling shelf units.
And, don't pass up on that ugly $10 dresser at the thrift
store - maybe the drawers can be used to display your china.

It's hard to have a repurposing post without including a
couple of ideas for recycling industrial pallets:
Prudent Baby

Vt. Woman

Today's last repurposing idea is for the hostess in all of us:

Crafty Couponing Mommas
With Fall approaching we're all looking for new and different Halloween
and Thanksgiving party ideas.  Turn a pumpkin into a cooler!

Thanks for joining me today.  Have a great Wednesday!

  1. My outlaws once bought a huge TV cabinet for their small sitting room, I swear a family of six could have easily taken up residence in it. It really was a monster, and father-in-law ended up sawing bits off it, lol. If only he had seen these ideas first! The home office would have been an ideal transformation.

  2. While I was out-of-town a few months ago, my husband bought a new TV without measuring our entertainment center first. You guessed it - the TV is too long for the cabinet so I, too, now have an entertainment armoire that needs recycling. But the picture on the TV is great!

  3. Thank you for dropping by my blog and leaving a message on "Inspiration from the Blogasphere 6', my weekly post sharing great finds. Also thank you for nominating me for an award.

You have a very inspirational blog too, I have been browsing around for ages.

    Thank you.

    Lee :)

  4. each time i used to read smaller articles or reviews that
as well clear their motive, and that is also happening with this
paragraph which I am reading at this place.
