Do you own something you like so much that you want it around
you all the time?  Even if it doesn't exactly fit in your decor?

Which is more charming - the Clara

Even though we live at the lake, I don't know
that I could find the right spot for this gold fish.

The unusual and the unexpected not only add a touch of panache to any style
but also show your sense of humor.  Go ahead, display your favorite things.

  1. Ha! The gold fish gave me a chuckle! Your post made me think about what I have in my house that I can't live without.....hmmm...I guess it would be the ceramic red fox that belonged to my grandma. When my husband first saw it, the look on his face said it all!

    1. I have a Victorian vase that's truly 'dramatic' and whenever one of the kids teases me about it I threaten to leave it to them in the will! It really is hideous but strangely charming, too!
