What better way to kick off the week than with a Repurposing Monday?!

4 the Love of Wood
An ingenious crafter added decorative trim to an old book case,
stacked it on a coffee table, painted and sanded it, and created
a beautiful shelf unit.

This charming bookcase was created out of two shutters,
dresser drawers, wainscoting, and - bowling pins?!

Here are some clever ideas for repurposing old chests of drawers.

Funky Junk Interiors

Not only does this old television cabinet provide additional
storage, it's a great place to decoupage vintage photos.

Old entertainment centers are plentiful in thrift shops and are
quite inexpensive.  Painted, they make great laundry stations,
nursery changing tables, and garden centers.

A vintage floor lamp was repurposed into a beautiful plant stand:

Using the tub out of an old washing machine to hold
the garden hose is a brilliant idea.  I especially like the
copper patina paint treatment.

Do you need an idea for a garden bench?  How
about using two headboards or foot boards?

We've seen some terrific indoor and outdoor
repurposing ideas today.  Have a great Monday!
