Welcome to another Repurposeful Monday!
I've got some awesome ideas to share with you today.

Old ceiling fan paddles were used to create
these imaginative works of art:
An old table leg was repurposed into a dragonfly.

A crochet mallet is the butterfly's body.

A pail was converted into a darling light fixture.

Seriously, it seems that just about anything can be turned into a light fixture.  This vintage minnow basket light has a charming industrial look that's surprisingly easy to make.  Click here for the pictorial tutorial.

Another ingenious idea is to wire a tea
cup for a petite lighting option:

A beautiful old tin became the base for a lamp:

Maybe you inherited a lamp that just isn't appropriate
to your decor?  No problem - turn it into a bird feeder:

It's fun to see school supplies being used in unusual ways:

A vintage gas pump handle is now a
door handle to a "man cave."

The. Best. Key. Holder. Ever.

A vintage car side-mirror is being
used as a makeup mirror.

Old utensils were grouped to make a unique wind chime.

Such a brilliant upcycle idea - a filing cabinet
as a kitchen island to store your cook books:

For a different kind of coffee table, start at Goodwill.
Decoupage the top with photos, postcards, and
memorabilia from your favorite trips or events.

Bottle caps were substituted for tile on this table top:

Red, red doors make a bold visual
statement in this small bedroom:

Great headboard idea!

A wall of cupboards was created with old doors
and the light shade is - what else?! - a burlap sack:

It's easy to forget how versatile old doors can
be - this one makes a beautiful mirror frame.

Need an instant bedside table?
Bundle books with a leather belt!

Belted books become their own bookend:

Want to be truly fashion forward?

Forget the purse - pick up a book!  Cleverly, a book cover was
adhered to a small clutch to make an intriguing fashion accessory.
Instead of color, you'll be matching your outfit with fiction,
non-fiction, or mystery!

Thanks for stopping by.  I hope you have a great Monday.

  1. What fun ideas! I love the idea of repurposing and reusing. It seems to bring out more creativity in me than just buying supplies as well as keeping would-be trash from the landfill. Happy week to you!

  2. People sure can come up with some great ideas....I like the dragonflies made with fan paddles and the lamps turned into bird feeders, must keep that in mind when I see an old lamp.
