Let's take a break from holiday decor for this Before and After
Friday.  I've wanted to share these remarkable projects with you
for a while and today seems like the right time.

Topic:  Renovated Split-Level Houses!

Being a child of the '60's I grew up with the introduction of
split-level houses onto American's architectural scene.  At the
time they seemed innovative and stylish but many split-levels
haven't weathered the test of time.  Today's houses will amaze!

Sadly, there are no before photos of these last few houses
but you can still appreciate the major changes the owners
incorporated into their split-level makeovers:

As you can see from today's photos split-levels don't have to be

stuck in the 60's.  Many Realtors consider these iconic houses the
secret gems of the real estate market - most are priced below market
value and the potential to update is affordable.

I hope you enjoyed today's interesting Before & After renovations.
Have a great weekend!

    1. What surprised me was that so many homeowners decided to go with an ultra-Contemporary design. Growing up one of my best friends lived in a split-level and I thought all of the stairs was fun. Now it seems like a lot of work! haha

    1. That's one of my favorites, too! It looks like a traditional Colonial. The owners did a great job.
