Are these the antiques of the future?

Whimsical and fun, fantasy furniture has become quite
popular over the last couple of years.  Do you think that
future generations of collectors will seek out these pieces?

Often referred to as Mad Tea Party furniture, these painted
pieces offer a multitude of color schemes and themes.

This Before & After photo shows how a talented artist can transform a
plain, regular piece of furniture into a fun and colorful one-of-a-kind piece:

  1. I visited a store recently that had a lot of furniture made over like these. I was amazed at the talent! Cool looking pieces!

  2. Very different. It would take a bit of getting used to it. The soft colors are so pretty though.

  3. Aren't those fun? I wonder what the next generation will think of them? xo Diana

    1. I think the artists that create pieces like this definitely have a sense of humor. While I probably wouldn't have something so colorful in the house, my grandchildren would really enjoy them.
