Visit our Online Flea Market!

August 1, 2012

Weird Wednesday - can't seem to focus on just one thing so today's post is going
to be all over the place.

Which do you prefer?  The catalog shopping ensemble on the left or the antique-hunting-flea-market-prowling look on the right?

While the presentation on the left is completely acceptable, it's a little ordinary
and too new for my taste.  But, the photo on the right - oui, merci!

Are you looking for a unique yet inexpensive wedding, birthday, or anniversary
gift?  How about a personalized pillow?  Darling and inexpensive!

I'm thinking about painting our front door.  Because it's
"mild" (i.e., hot) here in Florida, we often keep our doors
open with the storm door shielding us from the great outdoors.

The front door pretty much sets the tone of your house so I need
a color that says, "An easily distracted woman who starts lots of
projects but hardly finishes any of them lives here."

This past weekend I finally had a chance to watch Martin Scorsese's
film Hugo and it was amazing.
Ben Kingsley was impressive, as always.  I don't know why I thought
Hugo was a child's movie - the trailers I saw were definitely deceiving.

The set decoration was incredible and the story was captivating.
Architectural Digest included an article about the movie in a
recent edition and stated that the book store scene, above,
required the set director to borrow over 40,000 antique and
vintage books from British bookstores.  If you haven't seen it,
move Hugo to the top of your NetFlix list.

It's drizzling rain.  I'm going to make a cup of tea and cozy up to a
good book.  Tomorrow I hope to be more organized.  But, no guarantees.

  1. I love the look of that film set, definitely going to check that one out. I like coloured front doors, ours is boring white. I think I would go for red or yellow, but then lavender might be nice too, or ......

  2. A fast and practical netbook that may be for the more.
What you need and prefer in a computer will determine if you will
be satisfied with Chromebook or another computer. The Samsung Chromebook is essentially
a laptop that can only surf the internet and run apps.

  4. 5 MP is excellent resolution, but where and how can you achieve
it. Obviously, there may be some changes in the images produced
by the pre and production run 5DIIIs. According to Chung, the Nikon has the
edge for detail and for the addition of a crop mode while canon has the advantage for
lack of moire and high ISO performance.
