Get ready for a little weekend motivation. What's more inspiring than Before and After photos?
LOVE the fabric!
A few posts ago I featured the darling dresser (left) created
by Kristy and George of 4 the love of wood. These are two of the
most creative people I've found on the 'net. If you haven't
visited their site , please do.
Another one of their subway sign dressers is shown in the
Before and After photos below:
Before - distressed old dresser:
After - what a transformation!
Before: a stodgy, boring desk
After: a paint treatment and new handles
make such a startling difference

Do you have a traditional dated desk that needs a pick-me-up?
After: a paint treatment and new handles
make such a startling difference
Before: vintage colanders
After: too cute lighting
Repeat after me, "I can turn almost anything into a lamp!"
Before: just plain shabby
After: Stylishly shabby!
Before: a regular picnic basket
After: an ooh-la-la picnic basket!
Before: ho-hum wood candlesticks
After: vintage pedestals
Repurposed candlesticks can also
be used as cake plate stands.
I hope today's Before and After photos inspire you to get creative this weekend.
Special thanks to: 4 the love of wood; A Few Pennies; recyclart
