Last week I mentioned that wallpaper is making a comeback. Whether your taste is contemporary, traditional, or eclectic, wallpaper design companies offer a vast array of patterns, colors and textures.
Whimsical or elegant, wallpaper adds a dimension of depth to any space and can be used to highlight a color scheme or camouflage a 'problem' area or damaged wall.
With a bold color palette, choosing to hang wallpaper on just one wall can pull the eye away from a congested area of the room and give definition to an asymmetrical space.
Mural-type wallpaper is a beautiful addition to a foyer or formal bedroom. |
Committing to covering bare walls is a big step
and will increase your budget significantly.
While hanging wallpaper can be a DIY project,
just don't forget to prep the walls!
