All week long I look forward to Friday's Before & After projects.  Let's get started.

First off you must meet Liz Graves of Style Blueprint.  Not only is she brilliant, talented and beautiful, she's also a successful Nashville entrepreneur.

This year Liz and her equally talented husband purchased and completely renovated a rental property while working full time and raising 3 children under the age of 12.

To quote my late grandmother, "That girl can saddle a galloping pony!"

Here are just a few of the Before & After photos of their renovation:

 Exterior Before                                                                         Exterior After

  Kitchen Before:

  Kitchen After:

  Bathroom Before                                                          Bathroom After

I don't want to spoil Liz's post by showing you all of her photos - you'll just
have to visit her at Style Blueprint to read the details and see the rest of her renovation portfolio.

Okay, what is the Number One rule of thrift shopping?
That's right - always have your Potential Alert cranked up to High.
                      Before                                                                  After
It would be so easy to meander right past this darling
little side table and not give it a second thought.

Before                                                                          After
Actually, I liked the 'before' chairs but the patterned fabric is amazing, also.
LOVE the groovy Mid-Century Modern legs!

Speaking of Mid-Century Modern, below is a rather
dated family room with faux wood paneling:

After:
It doesn't even resemble the same room, does it?
A gallon of paint is an amazing thing!

This dining room went from drab to dramatic:
Before                                                                       After

The owners thought outside the box when it came to reinventing their den.
Apparently it had a half wall that separated it from the kitchen and they
closed it off with bookcases:

    What a lovely transformation.

Sometimes it can be a unique challenge to
convert a child's room into a teenager's room:
Before:

After:
Painted doors make great headboards and the color palette is ideal.

I noticed something funny about this 'before' bathroom
photo - the cameras hanging above the tub:
I'm guessing that, like many old houses, this bathroom
didn't have a shower, just a tub.  The owners probably
decided to decorate with a collection of vintage cameras.

After:
Much better and not a camera in sight!

Here are two kitchen makeover, both with stunning results:

Tile back splashes really make a beautiful difference, don't they?

I'm sorry that today's post is a little short but I'm off to take my assistants
to their spa day.  It is, after all, part of their benefits package.

I'm leaving you with one of my favorite signs:

Have a great weekend.

    1. That's hysterical, isn't it? I love it. How many strange looks would we get if we yelled, "Plot twist!" out in public?!

  5. Thanks so much for stopping by. There's nothing more inspiring than to view the incredibly hard work of others and view their amazing results. That house that Liz and her husband renovated for a rental - can you imagine how great their own house must look?! Have a great weekend, Jan
