Today's Fun Friday of Before & After Photos features a mix of large and
small projects.  And they all have one thing in common - fantastic results.

If you have an old chair that needs upholstering, here's some motivation:
Before                                                         After
It looks like a completely different chair, doesn't it?

Two green 'frogs' got kissed and now are princes!
Enchanting.

The damask fabric on this timeless settee needed a velvet intervention:
Chair Loom

YARD  SALE  ALERT!
Keep your eyes peeled for potential:
Before                                                              After
The fireplace, below, went from traditional to sophisticated modern:

Let's face it - most basements get a bum deal:
There aren't enough "wows" in my vocabulary to describe these results.

Hallways are often lost in the shuffle
when it comes to decorating dollars:
Amazing difference, isn't it?

Today's projects just get more and more impressive:
So clean, so crisp, so modern and appealing.

One aspect of this re-do that helped was that the room has great 'bones':
My Thyme
I just can't believe that the new fireplace stones make such a difference.

Add a little porch rail, brush on a little paint . . . . .
Kristen Lopez Designs
Stunning, stupendous, spectacular - I'm running out of superlatives!

Prepare to be struck speechless -
Before

After
Slim Paley
This little kitchen went from tiny to terrific.  There just aren't
enough ways to tell you how much I love mirrors in a kitchen.

This next project had two challenges - add
book shelves and incorporate the large tv:
Erin Vale Designs
Done and done!

Today's last project is definitely 'weekend-able':
Lindsay Harrison
The television is no longer an eyesore - it's presence is
actually enhanced by the beautiful shelves and decor.

Get to the home improvement store and make it a great weekend.  See you Monday!

  1. I like the hallway, you are so right they often get forgotten. I also cannot get over the transformation to the outside of that house.. So many good ideas here.

  2. All wonderful ideas. One can never have too many bookcases. I had built in bookcases in my old home and I really used them!

    1. You're right. They also buried the electric lines, added a window, covered the columns, stained the privacy fence by the driveway - the list goes on and on.
