I've been remiss in posting Thanksgiving wreath
ideas and aim to rectifying that oversight today.

Readers, plug in your glue guns!

I love this dried corn wreath.  The cobs were
glued to a round form with the husks left intact.

Thrift shops abound with inexpensive yarn and
craft supplies.  Isn't this argyle pattern adorable?

Check out the dollar store for basic grapevine wreaths.  Felt
can be purchased at fabric shops by the square foot.

Bunch and pin cotton napkins to a Styrofoam form then remove,
launder, and use them at the dinner table after the holidays!

Boxwood wreaths are lovely in their simplicity but the
addition of a single, little pumpkin is a little distracting.

This moss covered form with a burlap bow is charming,
especially when paired with several tiny pumpkins.

Got fabric scraps?  Put them to use!

The black and white bow is my
favorite part of this wreath.

Tulle and ribbon strips were looped through a
metal circle which can be reused year after year.

Little ones enjoy making holiday
decorations.  What a great keepsake.

Here's another wreath that children can help construct.  Think how
proud they'll be when you display their efforts on your front door.

Yup, those are balloons.  Isn't this a darling idea?

With the weekend upon us and Thanksgiving
peeking 'round the corner, it's time to get busy!

  1. Oh my goodness I am pinning this - did you make them all? They are gorgeous! My favorite is the corn one - number one. Beautiful. sandie

  2. These wreaths are amazing. When I first saw number one, made from corn, I knew that it would be my favorite, but after looking at all of these . . . WOW . . . I can not pick a favorite. :)
    Thanks for sharing.
