Hello, Friday.  You're looking Fabulous!

Speaking of fabulous, today we're going to take a look
at some truly stunning Before and After projects.

Many of you know that I have a weakness for reclaimed attic space
And what better area to find new living space than from above?!

One of the things that makes an attic 'retrieval'
so successful is the interesting roof line:

After

These property owners were looking for a
secluded area to turn into a home office:

They found it!

Elle Decor featured a charming Mid-Century Modern transformation:
Very chic.

These homeowners needed a guest bedroom:

What a beautiful, roomy suite.

An ingenious young couple turned their attic . . . . .

. . . . into an income-producing rental studio apartment:
Makes cents!

The teens are going to love this retreat.

With such a spacious attic over their heads, why didn't
these homeowners transform their attic sooner?!

Wouldn't it be lovely to have a craft and sewing room
that wasn't in the mainstream of the traffic flow?

Perfect crafting perch!

This attic 'addition' nearly doubled the family's living space:

This renovation is about 85% finished - the owners just
need to refinish the floor and choose a wall color.

Let's end today's post with a fairy tale renovation.
Notice the charming 400+ year old French cottage on the right?
Below are the before and after photos of that cottage's attic reclamation:

  2. These remind me of when we moved into a huge old farmhouse when I was 13 and I got one of two attic rooms for my bedroom...it had a slanted window in the eaves and I picked out a really pretty lavender floral wallpaper to go with my white furniture...it was my favorite spot in the house!
    Have a great weekend, Jan.
