As much as I adore furniture makeovers, seeing what an imaginative

eye can do for a home that needs a face lift is lots of fun, too:

It's easy to forget that historic homes weren't built with garages.  The owners
of this house took great pains to incorporate a modern garage and addition
without compromising the original structure and integrity of their 'senior beauty'.
